Another step closer to the resources you need to get on a better path forward this week! On Monday, Judge Cahill officially appointed Keith Hunter and his group to serve as the settlement administrators. This means they were officially hired by the Court to design a process to submit your claim in order to determine the money damages you will receive as a result of the devastating fires on Maui almost two years ago now.
This is great news. They are working on a way to submit your claim now, and we look forward to, hopefully, receiving the final blessing of the Proposed Settlement in late May to establish an actual Trust to start paying out your claim. We are continuing to work up your case and I look forward to seeing how we can submit your case to the Trust for evaluation and payment of money damages for what you have suffered.
We are not there yet, but are getting very close. Thank you for hanging in there with me these past eighteen months + and I look forward to sending you another update next week!
