It was so good to see you all last week. Now it is time to roll up our sleeves and make sure we finish this important work before the October 1 deadline. You have already done everything asked of you, and that puts you in the strongest possible position. But anything extra you can add will only help strengthen your claim, so if you come across more documents or think of additional details, please reach out. Your questionnaire is complete and your release has been signed for your individual claim. The next step is coordinating with my office on any documents that support your claim and help make your case stronger. In some cases, we may need additional releases to move your claim forward. If that applies to you, someone from my office will be reaching out directly to coordinate next steps. Remember, the Trustee needs to see clear evidence that you lived where the fires happened, spent money you otherwise would not have, and that your life was made worse as a result. The more we can demonstrate this, the more we can maximize the recovery you are owed.
