Judge Cahill has approved a one month extension to the October 1 deadline for Maui Fires claims. This gives us a bit more time to get everyone’s claims processed and make sure each story is heard.

Even with the extra month, we still need to move quickly. The most important step for you right now is to sign your settlement release so we can officially move your claim forward.
Please look for an email from delivery@eversign.com with the subject line “Maui Individual Settlement Release.” Open it and sign today. If you cannot find it or need help, call my office at 808-501-1683 and we will guide you through.
Once your release is signed, we can move on to completing your questionnaire and collecting your supporting documents such as receipts, invoices, photos, rent agreements, or property records. These help show the Trustee where you lived, what you had to spend, and how the fires touched your life.
This extension gives us breathing room but every day still matters. Please make signing your release your focus so we can move forward together and build the strongest case possible on your behalf.
