I hope this email finds you well and that you all had a great week. We are writing to you today with an update on your case. We are still in active mediation and negotiations with HECO, and a week-long mediation is scheduled for June 24 – June 28, which we have been preparing for. We also continue working towards the November trial date to force HECO to pay property damages to resolve your case.
Great job to those of you who have taken the time to complete the questionnaires that we have sent out in our previous updates. If you have not completed the questionnaires, please find an hour or two to review them to the best of your ability. I have included the links to both questionnaires below, and if you would rather us mail them out to you, please contact us. We understand that they are long and tedious, but we need to gather as much information from you as we can to rightfully hold HECO accountable for the emotional distress, property damage, and other afflictions that they have caused on to you and your families.
Lastly, our office in Whaler’s Village is open, and Aurora is available to assist you until June 21st. If you have not yet met with her or scheduled a time to meet, feel free to reach out to her at (406) 861-8620. If, for whatever reason, you cannot go into our office and need her to come to you or meet you somewhere else in Maui, just let us know!
