We are writing to you today with an update on your case against HECO and all other entities that caused the horrible fire last August. Today, I bring you good news, our brief that the Supreme Court of Hawaii wants to review before oral arguments in January is close to being finalized and will be filed on Monday. The insurance carriers will then have 40 days to respond to our brief and we should be on the doorsteps of a decision from that Court.

This decision is a necessary step in getting you access to the proposed Trust that has been set up and should include 4.037 billion dollars for the people of Maui. So thank you for your patience, and your trust in our firm and I look forward to sending you another update next week.
